Short and sweet

Oh, haha, that's funny. All I had to do to fix my computer and be able to change the colour of my posts was click on the little Compose button. That was fun. Yeah, anyway, not much to talk about today. I was at school, which went pretty smoothly. I hung around in the Library during my two spares and I did some work, but I still have plenty more to do before bed. I have to go to sleep earlyish today because I have a Prime Time sectional tomorrow morning at 7:40am. So that was my short and sweet post for ya today. Like I said, not much to talk about. That's probably for the best though, because I should really not type for too long tonight if I want to get my work done. See ya later!

Bedtime

So I want to go to sleep right now. But because I was busy with flute-playing after school today, I still have a tiny bit of homework to do. So I am going to go quickly do that and get some sleep. Sorry about this post being so short; I'll try to make a longer one tomorrow. That's okay that this post isn't too long though; I don't really have anything exciting that's new with me that you'd be interested in. I had my day of school and I am very tired. Did I mention I have homework? Too bad I can't really think. Gotta go do that work though. Good night!

Semester 1-Complete. Semester 2-Commencing.

So semester two starts tomorrow and it's kinda a scary thought to know that I only have one more semester before I graduate and start stepping out into the "real world." Yeah, I have some ideas of what I may like to do with my life, but I really want to follow God's lead. It's a super-crazy thought to even try thinking about what my future may look like. Has it ever hit you that we as humans are free to make our own choices but God still knows everything that is going to happen to us? That's been hitting me quite a bit, recently.

Today was awesome! I got to learn so much at Church, wow! And I got to have fun times playing a bit of Sherades today, too. Fun times flexing and bounding and "playing" instruments! It was great fun!

Well, I think I'm going to head out now. Once again, I've been typing on the computer much longer than I first intended. Oops.

Good night,
Sharilyn

Hey

So I had an all right of a day. I got to hang out with my grandma basically all afternoon long, and we had fun times doing errands, chatting, and driving all over the map of Regina. And now I have just used the computer much longer than I first wanted to. I've been typing a few e-mails to friends, and a few of them were based on a forward thing that I wasn't too sure about . . . and now I'm simply confuzzled. I had my mom look it over and we thought it was important for me to send to my friends, but now I don't know if it's a hoax or not and yeah, it's confusing and kinda frustrating to think about. As far as I'm concerned, if it was real, then it was right for me to do. If it wasn't real, then I guess I'll live and learn. Anyway, I'm going to let it go now. So I am tired. I would like to sleep soon. I was up late last night, and this morning I was woken up early by the telephone. So because I want to get up tomorrow morning, I'm going to get some sleep soon. See ya!

Finally

My computer takes quite a while to boot up, so when it finally does then I like it. Until then though, it can try my patience a bit too often. Anyway, I have basically had the most relaxing day ever so far. I've been totally chillaxin' all day long. All that I really have planned is Youth Group tonight. And I have a worship team practice for SPARK (Students Praising A Righteous King) today, too. Wootfulness! Oo, last night was fun times! Some of us went to Mt.Pleasant, and it was completely covered in ice! We didn't even have use our sleds to slide down the hill! It was great! Well, I think I may go now. See ya later!

My post of the day

What is up, everybody? How are you doing? Well, I'm finally done my finals and I am totally chillaxing right about now. It's kinda nice. I don't have anything to do right now, except for hanging out with others. I've also had some time to myself, which I really like every once in a while. And right now I can't think of anything else that I can tell ya. I'm totally relaxed and my mind isn't really wanting to think all that much. I'm looking forward to this weekend. I'm ready to catch up on sleep and hang out with friends. Well, I think I may go upstairs and listen to a bit of music, chill out a bit more, maybe get a snack to eat or something. Yeah, time will tell what I'll be doing. So I'm going to go now. Bye.

Up bright and early

Hello,
Sharilyn typing to ya again. I've been up for quite a while, studying a bit more before my test which is at 8:35am. It shouldn't be too hard, as long as I know my stuff. It's a unit test in Social Studies. I'm going to be reviewing it all a bit more before I leave for school though, just so it's all fresh in my mind. I've had such an amusing week, wow. I've been recently starting this whole prayer journal-type thing to God, which is really cool. I find sometimes in the morning I can't exactly focus when I talk to Him, but this has really been helping me organize my thoughts and figure out a bit more about what's been going on in my heart and mind. Oo, and I figured out my Grad dress yesterday. I like the way it's more modest than some of the other Grad dresses out there (which was my main concern). I really like it. It's pretty and sparkly and I enjoy the colour. So now that's one more thing down to figure out before Grad. Now all I need to figure out is shoes and details. And of course I still have to apply to school for next year. But yeah, this whole thing is slowly coming together, and I'm starting to get kinda excited already. (Wow, do I ever sound like a stereotypical girl right now.) So that is about all that's new with me. Yep, true story. Okay, I think I'm done typing now. I'm going to go eat some breakfast and study a bit more. See ya later!

Why can't I change the colour of my text?

Hello, people! How are you doin'? I'm just fine and dandy! I've got a fairly busy day ahead of me, so that is why I'm typin' now. I'm gonna get some fruit to eat, search a bit more for the perfect Grad dress, study for a while, and possibli hang out with some of my friends. So as I mentioned, I feel like eating fruit. I'm going to go do that because for one thing I have no idea what else to type, and for another thing I'm hungry. So I'm now on my way upstairs. Ciao!

What's your week been looking like?

I know it's only Monday, but it feels like so much has happened. It seems like a few months ago since I had my flute recital, but it was definitely just last Friday. I had a big day today. I had my English final, which consisted of short answer questions (which were really more of paragraphs than short answers) and an essay. I think it went fairly well; I remembered all that I studied and it went smoothly, but me with my slow writing and all made it seem like a long time. Actually, it took from 1:15 until 3:25, so it was quite a while. Almost right after I walked in my house, I found myself leaving again. My aunt and I were off to look at Grad dresses. That was fun times. I usually don't like shopping much for clothes, but we found that the time flew by as we were chatting basically the whole time. We found this really pretty one that I am seriously thinking about getting, so we'll just have to see. Then we had supper at my grandma's house and now I am sitting here at home typing this post up. So I have to study a bit for tomorrow and the days to follow. See ya later!

Sunday, January 22, 2006

Hello again . . .

Yeah Melinda, here's a high-five for making a post and commenting!

So my day has gone swell. I was at Church basically all morning. Wow, can those kids ever get hyper in Caraway Street (particularly during the third service). And then I came home, had lunch, hung around and did stuff and things, and then before I knew it the day came closer and closer to nearing completion. So I hope you do well on your finals, everybody (who may be reading this)! I should probably go and study a bit more. See ya!

'Sup, friends?

Not too much going on here. Just tried making some microwavable popcorn. Yeah, that didn't work so well. The instructions said to microwave the bag for 5 minutes. Following the directions was a mistake. I came back about 2 or 3 minutes later and saw smoke pouring out of the microwave. Oops. Wow, was it ever smokey and painful for the eyes. So now we have our doors and windows open and I am freezing. We are going to the Keg tonight. I've never gone there before, but I've heard it's classy. So I have to go and get ready right about now. I got to sleep in today and then I was playing Halo 2 with my brother. It was pretty fun times. Okay, bye.

Gettin' slightly nervous

So I have my flute recital tonight, and am I ever starting to get nervous about it. I'm sure it will all turn out fine though. So I wanted to make a quick post and say hey before I get ready and head out. Sorry about this post being pretty short, but I've been pretty busy today. Okay, gotta run! See ya!

Thursday, January 19, 2006

Hello, people :)

Oh, I'm so happy. Don't know, but I'm still happy. I've been having a great few weeks, even if I haven't exactly done a ton. I'm glad that tomorrow is Friday. After I play at my flute recital, I'm planning on doing plenty of chillaxing. Too bad I can't make it to Youth Group tomorrow night though. That's when my flute recital is. But I will be there Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, to meet and greet and it'll be real sweet. Oh yeah, and I should probably study some time soon too. I will do that tonight and tomorrow . . . and every day for the rest of next week. Guess I'm going to go right away, seeing as though I have things to do and places to go and people to meet. Oh wait, no, I just have things to do. Like homework. But I'd still better go. Ciao!

I'm liking this

Wow, I am so tired right now. I had school all morning long, but because of the staff meeting we had shortened periods and that's why I'm at home typing to you. I have Youth Group tonight, which I am looking forward to. But I have a bit of work to do first, and I am planning on getting a little nap in this afternoon too. So I am going to go upstairs, eat some tater tots, do some work, and sleep. I will type a longer post to you tomorrow. See ya!

I like chips

How are your days going? Mine is going just purrfectly. I got to go to school, play some music, and now I am typing to you and eating some ketchup chips. Oh yeah, and I just spent like the last hour typing a bunch of e-mails to various people. So now I have to run along and get my homework done. Want to get a good night sleep before I have to wake up early tomorrow morning. I have a Prime Time sectional at 7:45am. Ciao for now!

How IS you!?

What is up, people? And a very special hello to you, dearest Melinda! Glad to know I'm not all alone! Or AM I? Dun Dun Duh . . . (scary music)

So what have you guys been up to? I've had a pretty crazy Monday, filled with fun times! I got to have my Grad photos taken, so I was getting ready for that basically right after school. My sister did my hair and make-up, and I thought she did a great job at it; we were going to prepare a bit last night by experimenting a bit, but that didn't really happen (because we were both quite busy). I just figured out what I was going to wear after school today. Anyway, I felt like it took so long for the guy taking my photo to get the perfect picture, and it seemed like a lot of smiling and a long time later before I could head off to my flute lesson (which I had right away). Then I got to just chillax for a while, and time flew before I knew how the day was already done. And now I have to go do homework, so goodbye! Hope you had an awesome day, and I will see you later!

Today was an adventure-and-a-half!!!

Wow, I've had such a crazily busy, yet fun, day! I got to run to Caraway Street on the ice this morning, try getting to the run-through of my flute recitol through the cold weather and the ice on our windshields (of my sister's car), try doing the homework that I totally forgot all about, and prepare a bit for my Grad photos (which are tomorrow)! Yeah, I'm kinda busy, but I have had so much fun! How were all of your days? Was it amazingly excellent? Yeah, I don't know what else I should type! But that's okay, because I still have a bit of homework to finish right about now! See you later!

This annoying computer is bugging me . . .

Okay, this will be short and sweet, because my computer isn't working with me. But I said I will be back today, so here I am. I am typing really slowly right now because every time I try pressing the delete button (to correct the spelling of a word), then nothin is delted . . . I mean, led . . . argh . . . deleted and then it does not like me so it navigates away from this page and it is frustrating. Anyway, my day was good; how about yours? I had fun times doing laundry, listening to musiic . . . I mean, music . . . and cleaning my bedroom. Okay, this annoying computer is getting on my nerves; it and it's slow-typingenss . . . I mean, typingness . . . Yeah, anyone know how to fix this problem that I apparently have got? Well, I'm going to go get ready for bed after I hang up some more of my clean d . . . argh . . . laundry. K, bye.

Still up and not much to do

I remembered that I still had to make my post for the day, but I was really busy until just now . . . so I'll make it up to you by typing to you twice today, okay? K, so today I was (apparently) pretty busy. I had my usual day of school, and I was at our usual Prime Time (one of our jazz choirs) after school (seeing as though today - or yesterday - WAS Friday and all). Then I came home and had supper before I was off to Youth Group. I had fun times at our Youth event, which was named "TROGDOR ATTACKS!" It was really fun, but I definitely felt myself getting tired every here and then. Speaking of getting tired . . . I'm starting to feel that drowsiness right about now. I'm off to check my e-mails and I am out like a light. Farewell.

Whazzupeh

Random smiley of the day:
#1 Trophy
I'm doing pretty good; how about yourself/yourselves? I was at school basically all day, and I just got home. We had the people running in the election (which is coming up) in our school today. It was kinda cool because I usually don't get super-stoked for hearing someone talk about politics, but I've recently been having a good time learning all about what's going on in our Country. So yeah, that was sweet. I also got to go to our ISCF group (Inter School Christian Fellowship) in Campbell, so I had fun times while I was there. Actually, all I got to do was chat a bit and study for my math quiz (which I had today in fifth period) before I had to run away to band. Making that music was pretty good times, although I think those new songs need quite a bit of work done on them :) I've got Caraway Street tonight, so I'm looking forward to that! Last night, I was up late; making some of those props can take quite a while! Oh yeah, and I still have to make one more thing, quickly. So I'm going to go do that. Ciao!

I'm so happy, feeling snappy, my life is rosy, I'm feeling comfy cozy . . .

Hey there everybody,

How are you?

I am excellent.

I just had a great hour.

During my spare, I came home.

Then I typed on the Hillsdaleyouth blog.

And now I am typing a line or two at a time to you because I feel like it.

I am going to be busy tonight, so that's why I am typing to you now.

I have Youth Group and I'm on the worship team, so I'll be having fun times there.

Two of our cats were playing up in the rafters, and then they made one of our ceiling tiles (in our basement) callapse. They are really cute; now they can crawl around on the top of my sister's closet.

Okay, I'm going to get some food now - slash - see what my brother just did.

Ciao!

I'm back...again!

'Tis true, it is I. Coming to ya live, directly from my computer to yours. How goes it, people? It is going great for myself. I had quite an interesting day at school. Mainly during my spare, which I spent in the Library playing Scrabble with a couple of my friends. The librarian seemed very happy that we were playing a game that increases our vocabulary; she said she was very proud of us and she mentioned some things that I chuckled at. And then she came out one time and made an announcement to introduce us to a book full of synonyms which the library apparently just received. It was so cute how after she made the announcement then she quickly said, "K, bye," and she walked away before we even had a chance to respond. I found it quite funny, and it's not something we usually hear an adult say in Campbell. Other than that, my day was pretty much a normal day of school. I got to have fun times making some sweet music; I had Wind Ensemble after school until about 4:45. We got let out early, after playing through a piece which has some screeching high notes and crazy rhythms in it. It's fun times! So I am going to get on with my day, doing some homework and probably cleaning my room a bit. I know I was planning on cleaning my room some time during the break that we had, but I never really got to it. I didn't get to a lot of things which I was hoping to accomplish during the break. Like getting my Grad dress. Okay, I'm finally leaving now. K, bye.

What up???

Hello, I'm back! So what is new with all of you? Not much going on in this end. I am really hungry, but I just got some dentistry work done, so you know how it is (can't eat for a little while longer). My first day of school was all right. I didn't really learn too much that I think will apply to my life at the moment, but I'm sure I'll eventually figure out how everything is applicable to my life soon enough. Oh yeah, I learned something about graduation; more in particular, I learned something about our grad photos coming up! That sounds . . . um . . . good . . . Yeah, I know it's special and all, but I don't know, I'm not a huge fan of getting my picture taken. Oo, I got a new CD that the Campbell Collegiate Chamber Choir made at the end of last year, so that's exciting! I heard one song on the CD before I was off to the dentist and shopping for groceries, and the choir sounded really sweet. I want to listen to the CD some time soon, and I should probably get done my little bit of homework sooner than later, so I think I am going to take my leave. Ciao!

Good Day

Bonjour to everybody who may be reading the words I type. Did all y'alls have an excellent day? That's right, I'm back to type yet another post. Just like I said I would (you need proof? look at the comment in "Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!!!"), I am beginning my long journey of posting basically every day that I can. That's right; because nobody else wants to post much on this blog, I guess you're stuck with me! Muahahahaha! *Ahem** So . . . Did I already ask how everybody's day went? Mine was fantabulisticly spendiferous! I got to do a ton! I got to hang out with all of you cool people at Church basically all morning long, and then I came home and practiced for my flute recital! Oh yeah, speaking of which; turns out there was miscommunication of info when it was being distributed to me. And that last sentence simply put into words for those of you who want to speak English: I was told the wrong thing! Yeah, that's right! After all that hard work of practicing flute and stressing out for the last few days, I learned that I really have a week or two before I have to actually play the music! But I still had fun times playing music by myself! That's right, I'm one of those shy types who enjoys music, as well as typing and/or writing. Hence this here post. I wonder how long this post is??? Hmmm . . . So I got to play music for my flute teacher for about an hour today, and then I can home after having fun times with my family. Speaking of my family . . . They're all going to sleep now. And my mom just called me; I was planning on going to bed earlier than this, but it was worth the wait. Okay, good night!

P.S. Why does this blog make me delete all my cookies before I can make a post? What, does it like it not like me that much; so much that it does anything it can to not let me keep my cookies!? Maybe I like cookies!!!

Ola!

Hello there, everybody! How are you doing? I am doing great, despite the fact that my legs still kinda hurt from playing life-size Dutch Blitz! I had such an exciting week, it's been crazy! I learned about at least three things I have to do which I either totally forgot about and/or didn't even hear about! For example, I didn't know anything about my flute recital, which I am apparently having tomorrow! That should be interesting! I can actually play the music just fine; now it's all about trying to make it sound more special than someone just playing the notes that they see! And I never really know about how it'll sound with my accompaniast player, either. He's a great guy and an awesome player, but I never really know what the other part sounds like until I play a short run-through with him! I'm sure I'll get nervous when I finally get to play, but I'll live! Anyway, I got to hang out with friends tonight (which, as usual, made me happy), and I really should get going on some more of that flute-playing! So I'm out! Adios!
